We are a team of dedicated real estate agents located in Southern Maine who are committed to helping our clients navigate their estate sales and property investments. We have a passion for the Maine Coast and the community we work within.

The company was established over 40 years ago in Old Orchard, Maine. Charlene Weinstein owned and operated restaurants and hotels in the past with her family. This experience gave her an advantage moving into the hospitality real estate sector. She had such an in-depth understanding of the industry itself, so in turn she was able to translate that knowledge into helping clients get the most out of each transaction by assessing the entire business along with the property. She went on to establish herself within the Southern Maine community as a dependable resource for locals looking to sell or acquire commercial properties.

Over the years, her skillset expanded into multiple areas including residential, commercial, and new condo developments. She went on to open her real estate agency which is located on Main Street in Old Orchard, Maine. Over time she grew her team in order to accommodate a variety of real estate listings and buyers including a larger expansion into the residential real estate sector. The company is known for their commitment to their community and experience with the Maine coast real estate industry.

One thing that sets Charlene’s Coastal Properties apart from the many other Maine Real Estate Agencies is Charlene’s Seniors Real Estate Specialist certification. This extra training for real estate professionals is meant to help you have an expertise in guiding individuals over 50 through these hard financial decisions and life changes. What she found through the training, is that it truly applies to most real estate transactions. Most of the time, when buying or selling a property, it is not just a property that we are dealing with. It is place that thousands of special memories with loved ones were created. This can be an extremely hard and emotional process and we apply the skills we learned in the SRES training across the board.
